Letter: I support Tim Covello for Judge
To the editor,
–I am writing to express my complete support for Tim Covello for Superior Court Judge. In many ways our court system is under attack. Both sides of the political spectrum seem to find fault. We need people on the bench that everyone can trust. That is why I am supporting Tim. This educated and intelligent man understands our complex legal system. Tim Covello has the experience and proven track record. He is endorsed by 26 judges and many legal and community leaders. Tim has been called the most qualified candidate by Judge Barry LaBarbera. Tim has 23 years as a criminal prosecutor and was tasked with working on some of the most high profile and complex cases. He kept his head down, did the job and won those cases through hard work and intelligence without seeking personal attention or aggrandizement. For the past two years he has presided over cases in Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo courts as a Superior Court Commissioner, a post to which he was elected unanimously by the judges of the Superior Court. For these reasons and many more I urge you to vote for Tim Covello for Superior Court Judge this June.
