Letter: Thank you for honoring fallen veterans with wreaths 

To the editor,

–On Saturday, December 12, Wreaths Across America placed over 250 holiday wreaths on graves of our local fallen veterans in cemeteries throughout San Luis Obispo County. It was with the support and outreach of our American Legions and VFW Posts that made this year’s effort possible. Our mission for 2016 is to sponsor a wreath for all of our veterans. We invite you to contact San Luis Obispo County’s coordinator Ron Waltman of the American Legion to sponsor a wreath at the 2016 ceremony. slowreath@gmail.com (805) 909-2030.

Thank you for all who participated and helped us in our mission to remember our Veterans, honor their families and teach our children about the value of freedom.
