Letter to the editor: Thanks for attending the Mother’s Day Brunch
– RISE (formerly North County Women’s Shelter & SARP Center) would like to thank everyone who joined us for our Mother’s Day Brunch at Portola Inn in Atascadero last month. Those in attendance enjoyed a delicious brunch or picnic prepared by McGee’s Catering surrounded by the beautiful gardens of Portola Inn.
A special thank you to our event sponsors: Atascadero Waste Management, Southern California Gas Co., S.W. Martin & Associates, 5th District Supervisor Debbie Arnold, and the San Luis Obispo County Supervisors. Finally, we would like to extend a special appreciation to Mayors Tom O’Malley and Steve Martin, the organizers of this wonderful fundraiser that benefits those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
