Letter to the editor: Yes, our Constitutional rights are essential 

To the editor,

Thanks for your editorial piece “Let’s remember our constitutional rights at this time“. One that keeps coming to mind for me is that the County Health Department effectively ruined innumerable businesses without just compensation.

Yes, we should follow social distancing and wash our hands, etc. But, “…aren’t our Constitutional rights equally essential?” I say Yes. And I ask, isn’t it possible to do both? I say Yes to that as well.
