Update: School district releases more information about employee placed on leave
Update posted June 20:
Allegations involve ‘inappropriate communication by a staff member with students’ according to the district
– The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has released a statement regarding why a staff members was placed on administrative leave:
We understand the community has many questions concerning the statement released yesterday regarding a District staff member placed on administrative leave. While student safety remains the District’s top priority, we must also respect the privacy of the student complainants and maintain the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
We can share that the allegations involve inappropriate communication by a staff member with students including communication online, which does not align with the District’s policy prohibiting such conduct. All District staff are required to complete training regarding the prohibition against online communication with students and are required to comply with District policy.
These allegations come to the District’s attention the last week of the school year and the District immediately placed the staff member on leave, contacted law enforcement as required, and initiated an investigation. If any students, parents, or staff have information to share regarding staff member online communications with students, please contact Shauna Ames, Assistant Superintendent of HR at sames@pasoschools.org. Upon conclusion of the investigation, the District will continue to keep the community informed.

You are one messed up thinking person if you believe it is OK to use tax paying dollars to install and maintain TAMPON dispensers in boys restrooms in our public schools. California has completely lost it.
