Library book club reads ‘Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie’

–Join the Paso Robles City Library book club on Thur, Feb. 15, from 7–8 p.m. for a discussion of the wickedly brilliant first-in-a-series mystery novel by Alan Bradley. “Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie” introduces 11-year-old Flavia de Luce, an aspiring chemist with a passion for poison. An enthralling mystery, a piercing depiction of class and society, The “Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie” is a masterfully told tale of deceptions and a rich literary delight.

The book meets monthly throughout the year, and this month would be a great time to join. For more information, call Karen Christiansen at (805) 237-3870.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Mon-Fri from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information about library programs and events call (805) 237-3870 or visit the library website.
