Library book group to read ‘When Christmas Comes’

    – The Paso Robles City Library will hold its monthly book group meeting in person on Wednesday, Dec. 17. The group will discuss When Christmas Comes by Andrew Klavan. The book is available in regular print and as a book on CD through the Black Gold Library System, and as an eBook and audiobook through the library’s Libby digital platform.

According to the event information, the story follows an English teacher who investigates a murder after a boyfriend confesses to the crime. The victim is a librarian at a local elementary school. Although there are witnesses and a confession, the narrative states that the details do not align and that the community and police leadership are reluctant to investigate. The protagonist, Cameron Winter, is described as an English professor confronting his past while attempting to solve the case.

The meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Story Hour Room at the Paso Robles City Library.
