    Library book group will discuss ‘Last Night at the Telegraph Club’ in June

    – Paso Robles City Library will host an in-person discussion of Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo on June 17 as part of the library’s monthly book group series.

    The discussion will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Story Hour Room at the Paso Robles City Library. Registration is required, and 11 seats are available.

    According to the library, the novel is set in San Francisco’s Chinatown during the 1950s and follows 17-year-old Lily Hu as she navigates identity, relationships, and family concerns during a period of political and social tension.

    The title is available through the Black Gold Library System in regular and large print editions, as well as an eBook, Spanish eBook, and audiobook through the library’s Libby digital platform.

    The novel received both the National Book Award and the Stonewall Book Award.
