Library celebrates ‘National Library Week’ April 9-15

‘Libraries Transform’ is this year’s themepaso robles library

The Paso Robles City Library is celebrating National Library Week with a “Libraries Transform” social media campaign—fun for every member of the family.

Between April 9-15, take a selfie, or have someone take a photo, of you holding a sign that says why you love your library. Then, post or share the photo to the library’s Facebook page: facebook.com/PRCityLibrary.
Or, come to the Paso Robles City Library and have your photo taken with a sign that reads: “I Love My Library Because,…”

Either way, you will qualify for a chance to win 4 One-Day Admission Tickets to the Ravine Waterpark. The more posts, the better the chances of winning!

Since 1958, the American Library Association has sponsored a national observance of libraries. This year’s theme highlights the changing roles of libraries, librarians, and library workers and celebrates the many ways libraries transform their communities through services, programs, and invaluable expertise.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
