Library Cinema Club to screen ‘Rear Window’ 

– The Paso Robles City Library will host an in-person screening of the 1954 film “Rear Window” on Aug. 22 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the library’s conference room.

The screening is part of the library’s Cinema Club, which meets on the fourth Friday of each month for a film, discussion, and snacks. Registration is required.

Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, “Rear Window” stars Jimmy Stewart as a news photographer who, while confined to a wheelchair after an accident, believes he has witnessed a murder. The 1-hour and 50-minute film follows his observations of tenants in a neighboring building through a telephoto lens and binoculars.
