Library hosts discussion on Michael Pollan’s ‘Cooked’ 

Cooked will be the perfect book to help prepare readers for their Thanksgiving feast as Michael Pollan explores what effects the four classical elements – fire, water, air and earth – have on the food we eat. By apprenticing himself to several master chefs, Pollan learns how to grill with fire, cook with liquid, bake bread, and use fermentation to make cheese and beer.
