Library introduces 'The Novel Brew' coffee cart

Contributions help support running the coffee cart and various library programs that enrich our community

    – The Paso Robles City Library has announced a new addition: a coffee cart affectionately named “The Novel Brew.” Located inside the library, this charming coffee cart is set up each morning to provide visitors with fresh, aromatic coffee to enjoy while exploring all the library has to offer.

What makes “The Novel Brew” special is its donation-based system, according to a press release from the city. While there’s no set price for a cup of coffee, all donations collected directly benefit the Friends of the Paso Robles Library. These contributions help offset the costs of running the coffee cart and support various library programs that enrich our community.

“We wanted to create a welcoming space where visitors can enjoy a good book and a warm cup of coffee,” said Melissa Bailey, Interim City Librarian. “It’s a simple way to enhance the library experience while giving back to programs that benefit Paso Robles residents.”

Whether you’re picking up a new book, attending a library event, or just stopping by for a moment of quiet, “The Novel Brew” is here to add a little warmth to your day. So why not visit the Paso Robles City Library, grab a free book, sip on a fresh cup of coffee, and make your day great?
