Library introduces two teen volunteer programs 

Paso Robles City Council Chambers/Library.

–The Paso Robles City Library is pleased to announce the establishment of two new volunteer programs designed to help meet the community service needs of area students, grades 9-12.

The Express Program will be offered for one week during the Winter and Spring breaks. The shifts are two to three hours per day; students may work a maximum of 15 hours. Duties include cleaning and shelving/shelf reading.

The Ongoing Program will be offered each school semester: January–May and August–December. The shifts are two to three hours per day; students must work a minimum of 20 hours per semester. Duties may include:

  • Assisting at public desks
  • Assisting with programs
  • Shelving/shelf reading
  • Cleaning/dusting shelves

Each program has specific dates and application process and applicants are asked to visit the library website to apply and for more information.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit the library website.
