Library invites public to celebrate three decades of service
Public cake reception to be held May 13
– The Paso Robles City Library will mark 30 years at its current location at 1000 Spring Street with special displays throughout May and a public cake reception on May 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The library, which has served the community for nearly 120 years, moved from the Carnegie building in the downtown park to its present facility in 1995. The relocation allowed for expanded collections, programs, and volunteer opportunities to accommodate the city’s growth.
Community members are invited to share memories of the past 30 years at www.facebook.com/PRCityLibrary or instagram.com/prcitylibrary.
The library is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (805) 237-3870 or visit prcity.com/library.
