–Relax at the Paso Robles City Library for the Adult Coloring Club on June 9 from 6-8 p.m. Why coloring? According to ABC News, coloring provides quiet and focus, reducing stress by stimulating the part of the brain that causes relaxation.

The process of coloring has the same therapeutic qualities as meditation. Coloring in a group allows you to add socializing to the mix while you create. Staff will provide coloring tips and challenges to add to the fun. Already a part of the coloring phenomenon? Feel free to bring your own materials and join in the fun. No signups are necessary for the coloring club, and all materials are provided.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit the library website.
