No prior technology experience is required
– Paso Robles City Library will host an in-person technology class in March focused on using the Aspen Lida app, which provides access to materials within the BlackGold Library System.
The class, titled Essential Tech: Using Aspen Lida In-Person, will take place Wednesday, March 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Library Study Center. The program is free, open to participants ages 16 and older, and requires registration.
The beginner-friendly session will introduce attendees to navigating the Aspen Lida app, which allows library cardholders to access materials available through the BlackGold Library System at no cost. Instruction will cover how to access library accounts, use search techniques, place items on hold, locate items not available through the system, and track holds, charges, and other account activity.
No prior technology experience is required. Participants are asked to bring their library card and a personal device, such as a phone, tablet, or laptop.
Registration for the class will open Friday, Feb. 20, at 9 a.m. The program is intended for adult participants and is categorized under computers and technology programming.
