Library offering bee-themed embroidery workshop
– Paso Robles City Library will host an in-person adult craft program in March as part of its Women’s History Month programming.
The program, titled Crafting with Adults: Bee Strong Embroidery, will take place Wednesday, March 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Library Study Center, located at 3600 Oak St. The class is open to participants ages 16 and older, and registration is required.
The session will feature an embroidery sampler designed by Emily June for DMC. The project includes a message encouraging women to “Bee” strong and uses a variety of embroidery techniques, including long and short satin, fishbone, and brick stitches. Participants may frame the finished sampler or incorporate it into a larger project such as a pillow or quilt.
All registered participants will receive supplies and instructions at a kit pickup event scheduled for Wednesday.
Registration for the class will open Friday, Feb. 20, at 9 a.m. The program is intended for adult participants and is categorized under arts and crafts programming.
