Library offering book writing workshop

book writing–Do you have a great idea for the next bestseller, but don’t know how to get started? Do you have a great book started, but are unsure of the next steps to getting it published? Be sure to attend the first of three presentations in the library’s “Build the Next Bestseller” series on Saturday, June 24, 11 a.m. -1 p.m.

Get inspired by authors D.J. Adamson, Cora J. Ramos and Marilyn Meredith as they offer methods to open up your creative self and to put those ideas on paper, whether tackling a fiction or non-fiction project. You will leave this workshop with an idea for a book, a renewed energy to complete your publishing project and goals, and trade tips to avoid writer’s block.

To sign up, visit the library events calendar beginning Monday, June 12. Space is limited. This event is appropriate for ages 18 and up.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit the library website.
