Library offering ‘Club Ghibli’ anime activities for teens 

Howls moving castle–Teens are invited to watch Studio Ghibli films, craft personal animes, and enjoy snacks from Japan with Club Ghibli in the Paso Robles City Library conference room from 3-5 p.m. on the third Wednesday in June, July, and August.

  • Calcifer Feltie on June 21. Create a personal Calcifer Feltie while munching on snacks direct from Japan. The library is also showing the Studio Ghibli film based on the book “Howl’s Moving Castle.”
  • Soot Sprite on July 19. Create a personal Soot Sprite, enjoy snacks and watch the Studio Ghibli classic film about two little girls and their friend Totoro.
  • Kaonashi on August 16. Create a personal Kaonashi (No-Face) paperweight while munching on snacks direct from Japan and watching the Studio Ghibli story of Chihiro Ogino, a sullen ten-year- old girl who, while moving to a new neighborhood, enters the spirit world.
