    Library offering new app 

    Free app is available for Android, IOSApp

    –The Paso Robles City Library now offers a new mobile application to connect patrons with their local libraries. The app, designed by Capira Technologies, allows patrons to search the library catalog, place holds on resources, access their account, renew items, pay fines, search library events, and view digital resources from their mobile device or tablet.

    In addition, the new app allows patrons to download digital resources including audio and eBooks, magazines, comics, streaming films, and view local historical photo collections.

    The free app available for all Android and IOS devices can be downloaded from www.blackgold.org and is available in Spanish. Patrons can also get the app by searching for “Black Gold library” in the Google Play or Apple App stores.

    The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
