Library offers ‘Build Your Wealth’ and ‘Build Your Career’ workshops
–In keeping with this year’s summer reading program theme, “Build a Better World” the library will offer opportunities to learn how to build your wealth and your career.
On Wednesday, June 21, 6:30-8 pm, Anne Crabbe, Certified Financial Planner with Cone & Associates, will present basic information on how to “Build Your Wealth.” The presentation covers saving, spending, goal setting, debt ratios, credit cards, FICO scores; and investing concepts and definitions, such as IRAs, 401Ks and mutual funds. This workshop is for ages 16 and up. Signups for this program begin June 7.
On Wednesday, June 28, VOLT Workforce Solutions will present information on how to “Build Your Career,” starting with creating an effective resume that will act as a powerful tool for career placement or advancement. Signups for this program begin June 12.
