Library offers volunteer opportunities for community involvement

–If you’re looking for a way to meet new people, learn new skills, or participate in community life, the Paso Robles City Library Volunteer Program is the way to go.

Opportunities range from working with the public at the Circulation, Reference, or Children’s desks, to working in the Friends of the Library Gift Shop or behind the scenes shelving and processing materials—with various opportunities in between.

“I love volunteering at the library,” says long-time Friends of the Library volunteer Pat Chacon. “I love the atmosphere and being surrounded by books. Plus, everyone is so nice here.”

For more information about volunteer opportunities in the Paso Robles City Library, contact Volunteer Coordinator Suzanne Robitaille, (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
