Library shares two additional research databases for all ages

–If you are worried about helping your children with their schoolwork during this shelter at home period, the Paso Robles City Library encourages patrons to utilize the extensive resources in its eLibrary.

MasterFILE Complete offers the largest collection of popular full-text magazines, reference books and other highly-regarded sources from the world’s leading publishers. You’ll find information covering virtually every general interest subject area, including art and music, business and finance, computer science, DIY, education, engineering, fashion, health and fitness, history, home and garden, multicultural issues, religion, science, sports and leisure, technology and more!

Primary Search is a database that contains thousands of full-text articles (many in color PDF) from over 100 of the most popular children’s magazines, including Ask, Boys’ Life, Click, Cobblestone, Cricket, Faces, Highlights, Ladybug, Junior National Geographic Kids, Ranger Rick, Ranger Rick, Jr., Scholastic Spider, Scholastic News, Sports Illustrated Kids, Stone Soup, Time for Kids, and Zoobooks. Primary Search also offers easy-to-read encyclopedic entries written specifically for children and more than 1.9 million images of relevant photos, maps, and flags to aid learning.

For those without a current library account wishing to access digital resources, eCards are available (for ages 13 and up) through the Black Gold Cooperative Library System.
