Library to host home-based business workshop Oct. 29
– The Paso Robles City Library will host a workshop titled “Home-Based Business: Your Guide to a Successful Start” on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Library Study Center, 3600 Oak St.
The class is part of a new series presented in partnership with Mission Community Services Corporation’s Women’s Business Center. The series will include a variety of workshops designed to help participants start or expand their businesses.
Instructor Brant Myers, a consultant with the Women’s Business Center and founder of BIIG Consulting, will lead the first session. The presentation will outline the steps needed to start a home-based business.
Home-based businesses may include cooking or baking, childcare, crafting or coaching services. The class is open to participants aged 16 and older.
Registration is required and opens Oct. 17.
