Library to host internet searching basics class
Class teaches browser basics, search engines and navigation skills
– An internet searching class titled “Essential Tech: Internet Searching Basics” will teach participants how to find information online, understand web browsers and search engines, and build navigation skills. The class will take place on Dec. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Library Study Center, 3600 Oak Street.
The class is designed for people who want to improve their ability to find information online or who are new to searching the internet. The session will cover how to conduct a basic search and locate answers to questions.
By the end of the class, participants will learn the basics of web browsers and search engines, build skills to navigate the internet, and learn tips for basic and advanced searches.
