Library to offer secured Wi-Fi option
– The Paso Robles City Library now offers a free, secured Wi-Fi option for patrons who would like the extra security of encrypted data transmission. All online traffic between a device and the Wi-Fi access point will be encrypted. All sites will be encrypted including sites that do not encrypt on their end.
To log in, choose “PR-Library Secured,” and when prompted, enter the password, which is available at the reference desk.
The library will continue to offer the free unsecured option; connecting with the unsecured option does not require the password. The library also has wired computers for use for free.
The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
