Lions Club donates close to $9,000 so that kids can swim free

Pool will most likely be open by Memorial Day weekend

The Templeton Lions Club once again stepped up to the plate, and through a generous donation of just under $9,000 have made it possible for Templeton kids to swim for free this summer in Templeton Pool.

As of now, San Luis Obispo County Parks has not posted the pool and swim lessons information for 2015. However, Templeton Pool has traditionally been open on or before Memorial Day weekend. Stay tuned for more as it becomes available.
