Local business Templeton Glass donates to Habitat for Humanity SLO County
Company raises $2,640 through window installation donations
– Templeton Glass announced the completion of its 2025 Community Giveback Campaign, raising $2,640 for Habitat for Humanity SLO County through a yearlong donation initiative.
According to the company, Templeton Glass donated $5 for every window installed during the campaign period. The funds were directed to the local housing nonprofit to support affordable housing efforts in San Luis Obispo County.
The campaign allowed customers to contribute to the effort through home improvement projects completed throughout the year. Templeton Glass stated the donations were made possible through support from homeowners, contractors, and partners in the community.
“Our community has supported Templeton Glass for more than 36 years, and giving back is an important part of who we are,” said Kelly Flannagan, owner of Templeton Glass. “This campaign was a meaningful way to connect our work to a cause that truly makes a difference. Every window installed represented a small step toward helping families achieve safe and stable housing, and we’re incredibly grateful to our customers for making this possible.”
Representatives of the housing organization highlighted the role of local business partnerships in supporting its programs.
“We’re incredibly grateful for partners like Templeton Glass who help make our work possible,” said Dawn Smith, Director of Development for the local housing nonprofit. “Their generosity reflects a deep commitment to our community and a shared belief in the power of home. Together with their customers, Templeton Glass is helping build and repair homes for low-income families, seniors, and veterans right here in San Luis Obispo County—and we are truly thankful for their support.”
Templeton Glass stated it plans to continue its community involvement efforts and support future nonprofit initiatives in the region.
