Local catering company to open restaurant and wine bar in downtown Paso Robles 

–Chef John McDevitt is bringing his Eclectic American Cuisine to Downtown Paso Paso Robles. Farmstead Kitchen will bring a new atmosphere to the building at the corner of 14th and Park St. Just one short block off the square, we offer a refreshing, unique menu that includes small bites to entrees.

“The creation of this restaurant has been a five-year process of working and living here in Paso Robles, while keeping an eye on the market. We want to fill the need of both our tourism trade as well as the local demographic with a place they can Eat, Drink and Relax, at an attractive price,” said John McDevitt, Chef/Owner

Expect items such as West Coast Oysters, pulled pork sliders, killer burgers, fresh local salads, mixed grill game specials, amazing sea bass and creative desserts. Their wine bar will have of course some local favorites from Paso Wine Country, but also a selection of old and new world offerings at great prices by the glass or bottle. They will be proudly pouring 10 Craft beer from the brand-new Tap System too. They will be pairing menu items specifically to help patrons enjoy the whole culinary experience.

Chef John McDevitt and his wife and partner Nancy McDevitt have a long-standing background in operating a restaurant and have a cumulative 40 + years of experience to bring to the table. Previous owners at a Tavern/Restaurant in New Jersey for over ten years. John holds a Culinary Degree from the Philadelphia Restaurant School, while Nancy earned her CSW from the Society of Wine Educators in Washington, DC. John and Nancy look forward to welcoming you to their new concept here in Paso Robles.

With the opening of the new restaurant, they now offer a forty-person private dining room for holiday parties, rehearsal dinners and more! The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner and weekend brunch, as well as a daily wine bar with a late afternoon bar snacks menu available.
