Local companies partner to establish corporate wellness program

The Lab owner Bradford Young and CCPS director Mike Brady.

–Central Coast Power Services (CCPS) and The Lab personal training gym in Paso Robles teamed up to create a special wellness program for CCPS’s employees. CCPS looks to enhance its company’s overall health and well-being with specially tailored workout programs for each employee. The program looks to enhance overall work/life balance and provide long-lasting benefits that aren’t always top of mind for employers.

“Health is something I’ve grown to be passionate about and collectively our team sees the value in a long-term commitment to health,” said CCPS Director Mike Brady. “Not only how it affects us in our working lives, but how it enhances our personal lives. We chose to partner with The Lab because of Bradford’s commitment to the community, facility and approachable wellness programming.”

The Lab is a workout facility in Paso Robles owned and operated by Bradford Young. With small group classes or one on one sessions, The Lab focuses on learning the proper mechanics of exercise and encourage all clients to move well and move often. Bradford is a graduate of Cal Poly with a degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Commercial Worksite Health and Fitness. His approach to getting and staying in shape is a 360 model with careful attention to diet, exercise, and a positive mindset.

“It’s exciting to think that in this little town that I grew up in, there are emerging companies that focus on the well-being and health of their employees,” says Bradford Young. “It’s all the benefits of working for a big city company in our little slice of heaven. I’m just thrilled to be a part of it.”
