Local event highlights Salinan heritage in Monterey County

– The San Antonio Valley Historical Association will host its Fall Dinner and Lecture on Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the San Antonio Valley Community Center in Lockwood.

Guest speaker Michale Erin Woody will present “The Salinan Indian Culture of Monterey County.”

Dinner will be prepared by Shaunie Briggs and is included with event admission. Tickets cost $30 for association members and $35 for nonmembers.
