Local imaging centers unify under single name
– Templeton Imaging and Selma Carlson Diagnostic Center have unified under a single name, Adventist Health Imaging, following operational and system updates at the outpatient imaging centers in Templeton and San Luis Obispo, according to a press release.
The imaging centers are now operating under the same name as part of changes implemented to improve access, communication, and patient experience. According to Adventist Health, updates were made over several months to address scheduling, insurance access, and workflow.
Improvements include upgraded phone systems intended to improve call routing, reduce wait times, and streamline scheduling for patients and referring providers. All major insurance plans are now accepted, excluding CCPN, following network disruptions that occurred during the transition to Adventist Health. Operational changes were also made to improve workflow efficiency, access, and communication from scheduling through the delivery of results.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house were held Jan. 27 at the Templeton imaging location. A second ribbon cutting and open house is scheduled for Feb. 24 at the San Luis Obispo location at 77 Casa St., Suite 102, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
