Local law firm names new chief financial officer
Carmel & Naccasha has offices in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles
– Matthew Haas has joined Carmel & Naccasha, LLP as chief financial officer. In this role, Haas will oversee the firm’s operations, long-term planning, and financial management, including accounting, accounts payable, payroll, billing, and collections.

Haas has more than 25 years of experience in financial management. Most recently, he served as director of operations and finance for AMETEK, Inc., a publicly traded global provider of industrial technology solutions. At AMETEK, he planned and implemented operating strategies across sites in Edgewood, New York; Largo, Florida; and San Luis Obispo.
Prior to his time at AMETEK, Haas was vice president and controller for Crystal Engineering in San Luis Obispo.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
