Local moving company seeks community support for turkey drive

Each $25 donation will fund the purchase of one turkey

    – Central Coast Moving & Storage is conducting its third annual turkey drive, aiming to donate 300 turkeys for Thanksgiving. This goal reflects an increase of 100 turkeys compared to last year’s total.

The company operates locations in Paso Robles and Santa Maria and is collaborating with local organizations to support families in need. The turkey drive will feature additional pick-up locations to expand access. Families can collect their turkeys on Friday, Nov. 15, at the following locations and times:

    • 11:30 a.m. at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 844 9th Street, Paso Robles
    • 1 p.m. at ECHO Atascadero Campus, 6370 Atascadero Ave., Atascadero
    • 2 p.m. at People’s Self-Help Housing, Rolling Hills Apartments, 999 Las Tablas Rd., Templeton
    • 4 p.m. at People’s Self-Help Housing, Canyon Creek Apartments, 400 Oak Hill Rd., Paso Robles

The company has also established a GoFundMe page for community members who wish to contribute. Each $25 donation will fund the purchase of one turkey, which will be delivered to a family in need. Donations can be made at the GoFundMe page titled “Help Us Feed 300 Families This Thanksgiving” or at https://gofund.me/e76805e6.
