    Local student-athlete selected to attend ‘Dream All-American Bowl’

    Rudy Contreras is one of 15 athletes representing California

    – Rudy Contreras, an 8th-grade student-athlete attending Lewis Middle School in Paso Robles, was recently selected to attend The Dream All-American Bowl in Arlington, Texas on June 12, 2022.

    Contreras is one of 15 athletes that will be representing California and is the only player from San Luis Obispo County and neighboring counties, Monterrey and Santa Barbara.

    Contreras started playing football at the age of seven with Paso Robles Youth Football and Cheer and has been participating on the middle school’s basketball and wrestling teams, and club basketball team (Central Coast Rush), all while maintaining good grades.

    The Dream All-American Bowl is a football all-star game series. The game is sponsored by Recruit Nation and Dream Scouting Network and broadcasts to a national audience thanks to a live stream by Recruit Nation Live TV.  Players will receive premium uniforms and gear, have the chance to learn from higher-level coaches and gain a boost in recruitment.
