Local teacher lost home in fire, seeking help from community

School hosting fundraiser for PRHS teacher and family

–Paso Robles High School teacher, coach, and former Bearcat, Matt Carroll and his family lost their home and everything they own earlier this month in a fire. They are reaching out to the community to help raise the funds to re-build.

Bearcat Boosters will be hosting a barbecue fundraiser at the high school on Saturday, Sept. 17, to help raise money for the family. The cost is $10 and includes a tri-tip sandwich, beans, bread, and water.

Purchase tickets from Jenny Martinez at PRHS – Room 107, by calling (805) 712-9677 or by calling Deb Caruana (805) 423-8922 Tickets will also be available for purchase at this Friday’s football game.
