Local wineries named among ‘101 Best Wineries in America’

Tablas Creek Vineyard earns top spot in The Daily Meal’s list
– Several Central Coast wineries were included among the 101 Best Wineries in America for 2015 in a recent article from The Daily Meal, with Tablas Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles garnering the No.1 spot.

Additional San Luis Obispo County wineries making the list are: Talley Vineyards, Peachy Canyon Winery, Saxum Vineyards, and Hope Family Wines.
According to article, the wineries “were nominated by experts in the field — sommeliers, wine writers, chefs, and restaurateurs, along with wine-savvy editors at The Daily Meal.” Factors taken into consideration included “innovation, unique growing regions, influence, and value.”
The Daily Meal states Tablas Creek is, “A leader in the use of Rhône varietals in the Paso Robles region…in the fight for approval of 11 sub-districts, and…in advancing sustainable and biodynamic vineyard practices.”
