Long Walk Home fundraiser returns Saturday in Atascadero 

Each step of the walk represents the journey many face as they work toward stability and permanent housing

– The El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO) will hold its Long Walk Home fundraiser on Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event begins with an awareness walk, inviting individuals, families, and teams to walk together in support of people experiencing homelessness in San Luis Obispo County.

Each step of the walk represents the journey many face as they work toward stability and permanent housing. Proceeds from the event will support ECHO’s emergency shelter, housing, and supportive services.

Following the walk, participants can attend a community barbecue that will include food, live music, lawn games and opportunities to meet other supporters and ECHO staff members.
