Lorraine R. Davis dies at 96
-Lorraine Ruby Davis (Sullivan) was born Oct. 10, 1921 in Duluth, Minnesota to Dennis and Esther Sullivan. She was very close to her parents.
During WWII, she moved to Los Angeles and worked as a switchboard operator. In 1946, she met Donald R. Davis and after a week of courtship were married. They moved back to Minnesota and raised six children, Craig, Scott, Brian, Diane, Jason, and Debra. Lorraine loved to sing and joined “Sweet Adelines.” In 1962, the family moved to Atascadero. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she served for many years. She loved doing geneology. Lorraine is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. She was sweet and kind to all she met and loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
