–LXV Wines is excited to announce the release of their rare and exotic holiday wine gift box available just in time for the holiday season. This very unique culinary wine box includes two reserve bottles of wine from Paso Robles, a beautiful soy candle, two exotic spice blends, and printed recipes all bundled together in an elegant holiday box allowing recipients to prepare and enjoy spiced dishes with reserve wines. This unique and rare wine box includes two recipes printed on a beautiful, metallic gold recipe cards, and includes LXV’s award winning recipe for Biryani (an Indian rice dish similar to paella) prepared using a sachet of whole spices, rose petals and garam masala inside the box. The second recipe, called “Steak with Smoky Notes,” is prepared with a Lapsang Souchong smoky steak rub included in the set as well. Both recipes can be easily prepared vegetarian.
The gift box includes two reserve wines from Paso Robles which are produced in limited quantities of only four barrels each. Gift box recipients will enjoy a 2014 Reserve Syrah from Kiler Canyon Vineyard which has notes of blueberry and boysenberry, and a 2014 Cab Franc Merlot which has notes of violets, earth, and a beautiful dichotomy of spiced flowers and cherries which is incredibly rich but light on its feet.
The gift box also includes a handcrafted Honeysuckle Sage scented soy candle which will burn for up to 120 hours. The candle signifies the longevity and meaning of the relationship between the gift giver and the gift receiver. Additionally, customers can personalize the box with an included greeting card. When this gift box is opened, the aroma of Christmas fills the air.

Mittal is passionate about combining wine with culinary flavors and aromas at her tasting room where she pairs elegant wines with curated blends of spices sprinkled on cheese. The design of her tasting room invokes “elegant hedonism” and the indulging in self-pleasures and earthy connotations. LXV was named “7th Best Tasting Room in America” by USA today. She crafted this rare wine box to provide customers the ability to share this very experience of her tasting room through gift giving.
The name, LXV, is roman numeral for 65, and is inspired by the 64 Indian arts of KamaSutra. “Everything we do at LXV is in your honor, you are the 65th Sutra,” says Mittal. “You are LXV”
