‘Magnetic Poetry Slam’ to be hosted at library July 15 

Students will be provided magnetic words, a cookie sheet and a time limit to create a poem

–On July 15, from 2-5 p.m. middle and high school students are invited to create poems at this fast-paced poetry event. Participants (alone or in groups) will create poems using magnetic poetry words, then share them with everyone. Students will be provided with magnetic words and cookie sheets on which to compose. A theme will be given, and participants will have a given amount of time in which to compose their poem. Signup for this program at the library circulation desk.
