Updates aim to modernize and improve safety
– The City of Paso Robles is currently in the implementation and design phases for the improvement of two major infrastructure projects. The Creston Road Sustainable Streets Corridor Plan and Golden Hill Road Repair Project will include resurfacing, upgrades to align with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and enhanced pedestrian and bike pathways.
Creston Road Sustainable Streets Corridor Plan
This project spans 1.9 miles from South River Road to Niblick Road. According to the city’s website, the plan aims to “beautify the corridor with streetscape enhancements, coordinate circulation and access with existing and future land uses and projects, improve conditions for transit, motorists and businesses, [and] make Creston Road safer and easier for school children and adults to walk or ride a bike.”
