Man arrested after search uncovers more than a pound of methamphetamine
Suspect identified as Eric Lamar Farrior
– San Luis Obispo Police officers arrested a 65-year-old San Luis Obispo resident on Jan. 6 on suspicion of narcotics-related offenses following an investigation, according to a post by the department on Thursday.
Police identified the suspect as Eric Lamar Farrior.
According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, officers and detectives contacted Farrior at his residence in the 900 block of Monterey Street after conducting a complex investigation related to narcotics sales. Farrior was on probation for prior narcotics-related arrests and had search terms that allowed law enforcement access to his apartment.
Detectives searched the apartment and reported finding more than one pound of methamphetamine, plastic baggies, a digital scale, and other items associated with the sale and use of narcotics.
Police arrested Farrior and booked him into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony transportation for the purpose of sales of a controlled substance, and felony possession with prior convictions.
