–On May 12, Paso Robles Police Department officers responded to the 2800 block of School House Circle to a theft report. On May 21 at about 11:30 a.m., Labarbera agreed to meet at Pioneer Park to sell one of the chainsaws. Labarbera arrived at the park in a stolen white Nissan Altima, being driven by Miguel Ramos Jr (34 years old), of Paso Robles. Labarbera attempted to sell the chainsaw to an undercover officer. During the sale, officers converged on the area. Ramos attempted to drive away but was stopped by responding units. Labarbera attempted to flee on foot but was quickly caught. One of the stolen chainsaws was recovered.
