Man arrested for stealing several items from Holiday Inn storage facility 

Holiday inn burglary Arroyo Grande

–At about 1:15 p.m., a citizen reported suspicious activity occurring at the Holiday Inn located at 775 N. Oak Park Blvd. in Arroyo Grande. The citizen reported they saw an adult male throwing tools or equipment over a block wall from the Holiday Inn parking lot, according to Grover Beach Police. The citizen reported the man fled the area onto Atlantic City Avenue while riding a bicycle.

Officers responded to the area and located the suspect at 12th Street and Atlantic City Avenue. The suspect, Tyler Joseph Terry, 35, from Arroyo Grande was detained for further investigation. The investigation determined Terry committed a commercial burglary to a storage facility on the Holiday Inn property and stole several items. The stolen property was recovered and Terry was arrested for Burglary. Terry was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for Burglary (felony) and is being held on a $20,000 bond.
