    Man arrested on DUI charges after vehicle collision 

    woman crashes car–James Edward Johnson, 35, of Paso Robles was arrested for DUI of a drug after a traffic collision that occurred yesterday in Atascadero.

    Johnson was driving his 2006 Chevy Silverado Pickup, northbound on Highway 101, approximately two miles south of Santa Barbara Road in Atascadero, at approximately 2:32 p.m. on Monday. Officers determined that Johnson was driving at an unsafe speed when he collided with a 2001 KIA Sephia, that was being driven by Kylie Ann Dillard, 21, of Atascadero. Officers arrived on scene and began conducting their investigation. Through the course of their investigation, officers determined that Johnson was driving his vehicle while under the influence of a drug.

    Johnson was arrested for DUI under the influence of a drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was injured in the collision, and was transported and admitted into Sierra Vista Hospital for his injuries. Dillard was not injured as a result of this traffic collision.

    This collision investigation is ongoing at this time.

    Idiot is pretty harsh. Defending is what family does. Many do not understand that DUI is not just alcohol.
