Man arrested for possession of child porn

Jeremy Thom was a convicted sex offender who was on parole

–On Tuesday, detectives with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) team, Morro Bay Police Officers, and state Parole Officers conducted a compliance check at a residence in the 300 block of Tahiti Street in Morro Bay. A search of the residence discovered images of child pornography on the cellphone belonging to 35-year-old Jeremy Jacob Thom of Morro Bay. The images were of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts.

Thom is a convicted sex offender who was on parole for molesting a child under the age of 14. He was arrested for felony possession of child pornography and a felony parole violation and booked into County Jail.
