Man sentenced for rape, battery
Kenneth Drake Mohr given seven years in prison
–Judge Jacqueline Duffy sentenced 21-year-old Kenneth Drake Mohr to seven years in state prison. He was convicted by a San Luis Obispo jury on Nov. 12, 2015, for the forcible rape and sexual penetration by a foreign object of a 16-year-old victim occurring in April 2013. He was also found guilty in the same trial of a battery on another female victim.
Since this offense is defined as a violent felony the defendant will be required to serve 85-percent of the seven year prison sentence before becoming eligible to be released on parole.
This case was investigated by the San Luis Obispo Police Department. Deputy District Attorney Julie Antos, a member of our sexual assault prosecution team, was the assigned prosecutor on the case.
