Marilyn Rachel Rapacz dies at 91
Marilyn Rachel Rapacz.
–Marilyn Rachel Rapacz, longtime resident of Paso Robles, died peacefully on August 27, 2018. Marilyn would have been 92 this year and was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Joseph Rapacz (Eddy), and their two sons, Edwin Jr. and Benjamin C. Rapacz. She spent her last years in care, slowly but gently fading. She remained cheerful, pleasant and charming to the very end.
Marilyn will be lovingly remembered as a mother who loved and supported her sons through many life changes; as a faithful and humble wife to Eddy Rapacz; as a loving and loyal sister; and as a kind, generous, warm and very funny aunt.
For as long as Marilyn was able she was a lifelong and active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She gave generously of her time and love and she made many friends and provided scores of wonderful dishes for the regular after service meals.
Marilyn was a writer and poet all through her life. She collected office supplies from her favorite activity shopping. She amused her family with the many computers and printers she managed to burn through and never threw away, and in fact hardly ever threw anything away. She loved and was loved wholeheartedly by friends and family and will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Paso Robles District Cemetery, 45 Nacimiento Lake Dr, Paso Robles, California.
