Update: Meeting to be held for Olsen-Chandler Ranch project

Editor’s note: This article is updated to correct the time and location to 4-5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, with an additional workshop following from 6-8 p.m. and a closing workshop on Monday. The information in the first press release reported from the city was incorrect.

Public encouraged to attend

–On Friday, June 1, from 4-5 p.m., the Paso Robles City Council will hold a special meeting at the Holiday Inn Express, 2455 Riverside Ave., for the Olsen-Chandler Ranch project. Following the meeting, from 6-8 p.m. there will be an additional “show and tell” workshop for the general public to provide feedback on the project. A closing presentation will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Virginia Peterson Elementary School.

Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018, so they can be fully considered. For those wishing to submit their goals electronically email them to cityclerk@prcity.com.

The 826.7-acre Chandler Ranch Specific Plan Area is located at the eastern end of the City of Paso Robles. The subject property is generally bounded by State Route 46E on the north, the intersection of Fontana and Sherwood Roads to the south, Golden Hill Road on the west and the city boundary on the east.

The project website, olsenchander.com, is not yet fully developed, and multiple calls to the Paso Robles City Planning Department for more information about the scope of the project were not returned in time for publishing of this article.
